Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Project Engineer to drive technical leadership, coordinating design activity across disciplines and delivering projects to plan. You will work under a Chief Engineer and collaborate with program management for execution and controls.
The role requires experience in SRR through PRR reviews, strong physics knowledge, and effective customer-facing communication. Onsite Colorado Springs location with comprehensive benefits and relocation options.
Qualifications
- Experience leading product development reviews across SRRs to PRRs.
- Strong analytical skills in physics, dynamics, and statics.
- Experience presenting design solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-discipline engineering activities at the project level to ensure integrated teams and baselines.
- Design, communicate, and implement detailed project plans with schedules and cost estimates; lead project controls.
- Prepare technical inputs to proposals, work statements, specifications, and estimates; align scope with objectives.
