Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking a senior Project Engineer for IRSS Engineering in an onsite role. You will coordinate a cross-functional design team and manage budgets, schedules, and earned value reporting from inception to completion.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience, strong communication, and experience with MS Project, Excel and EVMS. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules and budgets for projects.
• Record and document delays, changes in scope and incidents that impact scope or schedule.
• Identify project risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
• Pursue cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.
• Direct all phases of the project from inception through completion.
