Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Director who will provide leadership and operational oversight for First Line Leaders and Sales Professionals within the franchise, reporting to the National Business Director.

The role drives business performance, ensures execution, and develops talent in alignment with client and corporate expectations, with travel required to support events and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years in pharmaceutical sales and sales leadership.
• 5+ years managing sales representatives; 2+ years managing First Line Leaders.
• Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in interpreting performance data and turning insights into actions.
• Willingness to travel to support events and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the National Business Director and stakeholders to deliver project goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop First Line Leaders and Sales Professionals.
• Diagnose performance gaps and implement timely action plans.
• Oversee talent selection, onboarding, evaluation and retention.
• Establish retention strategies aligned to franchise objectives.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations with analytics.
• Manage budgets, including promotional and T&E spend.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and client outcomes.
