Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Director, Clinical Business Development to drive growth in a defined U.S. territory, combining proactive expansion with new-opportunity pursuit.

You will craft tailored engagement plans, leverage data to optimize territory performance, and collaborate with operations, strategy, and delivery teams to co-create differentiated solutions for biopharma clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven success in healthcare/life sciences B2B sales or business development.
• Experience navigating mid- to executive-level client relationships.
• Strong consultative selling and ability to co-create solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for defined territory.
• Manage territory prioritization based on data, client opportunity and market potential.
• Identify, engage, and nurture key client relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Lead multi-touchpoint sales strategies aligned to client needs and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-develop client solutions.
• Travel up to 40% for client meetings, conferences, and internal events.
