Syneos Health, Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks an Associate Project Director (APD) to lead and oversee First Line Leaders and Sales Professionals, driving program results, performance, and talent development in line with client and company expectations.

The APD will partner with the National Business Director and cross-functional teams to deliver project goals, optimize business outcomes, and ensure compliance across promotional and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in pharmaceutical sales and sales leadership.
• 5+ years managing sales representatives; 2+ years directing First Line Leaders.
• Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to analyze performance data and translate to actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the National Business Director and cross-functional stakeholders to meet project goals and client expectations.
• Coach and develop First Line Leaders to improve team performance.
• Identify performance gaps and implement timely action plans.
• Oversee talent selection, onboarding, evaluation, and retention for sales roles.
• Establish retention strategies aligned with franchise objectives and workforce plans.
• Communicate priorities and performance outcomes; recognize results and reinforce desired behaviors.
• Provide strategic input to regional plans and ensure alignment with brand strategy.
• Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations with analytics support.
• Identify risks and opportunities; propose solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with promotional, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Monitor budgets and prepare analyses to support budget neutrality.
