Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in United States is seeking a Manager, Project Designer to be the main point of contact for assigned accounts, implementing workplace strategy and standards while supporting design teams.

You will manage space planning, test fits, and client presentations, ensuring drawings, color and materials meet standards and codes. This role requires strong collaboration with CRE teams and delivering projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture or Interior Design (NCIDQ a plus).
• 5–8 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or space planning or similar combination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; REVIT a plus.
• Experience with CAFM software such as Serraview, Manhattan, CenterStone, Planon, Archibus.
• Excellent organization and documentation skills.
• Strong presentation and client service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serves as main point of contact for account.
• Implements process documents that align with workplace strategy and client business needs.
• Delivers client workplace model standards; recommends new standards and improvements.
• Creates test fits and suggests workplace improvements in response to client needs.
• Provides proposals to maximize space efficiencies and align with CRE goals.
• Collaborates with CRE team members and project management staff.
• Interfaces with client to develop new workplace options and finalize concepts.
• Organizes data analytics and space solutions into client presentation format.
• Ensures space plans and concepts are safe, functional, and code compliant.
• Maintains an organized file system for all projects.
• Administers MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes).
• Provides reporting on project progress and completion.
• Determines selection of colors, materials, and finishes to meet client requirements.
• Selects furniture and millwork and facilitates procurement drawings.
• Maintains CAFM data supporting space allocation plans.
• Trains and develops design talent for assigned accounts.
