Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Design Manager to lead design teams across accounts, implementing workplace strategy and standards. The role involves mentoring designers from concept through construction documentation and coordinating third-party relationships with architects and engineers.

Responsibilities include developing project timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with safety codes, and delivering FF&E specifications that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA or NAAB accredited institution in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 4+ years of professional design experience.
• 4+ years of Revit experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in architectural drawings, concepts & design.
• Excellent time management, communication, collaboration, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of design professionals from sketch through construction.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, standards, and resource allocation.
• Support designers in quality review of design deliverables.
• Ensure new processes and design standards are implemented in documentation.
• Review space plans and concepts to meet safety, function, and code requirements.
• Review furniture, fixtures, equipment, and millwork specifications to meet client requirements.
• Provide ongoing training on space planning, design, and FF&E services.
• Develop workplace standards and pursue improvements for clients.
• Contribute knowledge on space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, acoustics, wayfinding, ergonomics.
