Job summary

Sound Transit in Seattle is seeking a senior construction management leader to direct a multi-project program focused on vertical conveyance systems. You will supervise a team of CM staff and consultants, guiding planning, design, and pre-construction activities across complex delivery methods.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in CM, strong budgeting and contract administration skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments, agencies, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Five years of construction management experience including heavy civil, buildings, and underground structures.
• Experience leading, budgeting, planning, and workforce management, preferably in transit/transportation.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and review work of staff; manage schedules and programs.
• Coach, train, and motivate staff; manage workflows and performance.
• Oversee construction management staff and site visits for safety and condition monitoring.
• Provide overall construction management direction ensuring contract requirements are met.
• Coordinate with program staff and outside agencies and manage budgets and expenditures.
