Job summary

HDR is seeking a Lead Project Coordinator in California to oversee production section operations, staff development, and quality control. The role supports marketing efforts, proposals, and cross-team coordination across project managers and service sections.

You will help plan, organize, and evaluate work using a proactive project management system, implement company policies, and maintain professional client relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

• Assist in the responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support
• May function as an Assistant Project Manager and assist in responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities
• Assist with administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections
• Be involved in marketing planning and proposals
• Assist in ensuring that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
• Prepare, organize and assist with contracts and sub-contracts
• Coordinate meetings and assist with presentations
• Exhibit professionalism with clients
• Work closely with multiple Project Managers and project teams
• Assist with or prepare project invoices as needed
