Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join the Project Controls team. The role, based in Texas or other qualifying states, focuses on building and maintaining schedules, cost controls, and EVM for large-scale capital projects.

You will coordinate with PMs, contractors, and BI teams to ensure data accuracy and insightful reporting. You will leverage PMIS tools like e-Builder, Procore, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, along with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, while

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cost controls and scheduling on large-scale capital projects.
• Strong EVM, cost forecasting, and schedule management practices.
• Experience with PMIS platforms such as e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Primavera P6.
• Familiarity with Power BI and data reporting concepts for BI collaboration.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain program/project schedules and monitor contractor schedules.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and financial projections; support EVM tracking.
• Track and control project costs, including change management and accruals.
• Monitor schedule performance, critical path changes, and variances with stakeholders.
• Administer PMIS platforms and track package reimbursements; support invoice processing.
• Produce regular cost/schedule progress reports feeding Power BI dashboards.
• Support integration of cost/schedule data with Power BI reporting.
• Assist with vendor selection, progress tracking, change orders, and close-out reporting.
