Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join the Project Controls team. This role can sit in one of our U.S. locations in Texas, Utah, Tennessee, or Nevada, reporting to the Program Manager and PMO.

You will build and maintain schedules, track costs and forecasts, and ensure accurate data flows into Power BI dashboards for executive updates. Strong EVM, PMIS and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in cost controls and scheduling on large‑scale capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of earned value management (EVM), cost forecasting and schedule management.
• PMIS experience with e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Familiarity with Power BI and data reporting concepts for dashboard/data integration.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate data into updates for teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain program/project schedules; monitor contractor and consultant schedules and resolve issues.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and support EVM tracking and reporting.
• Track and control project costs, change management, cost coding, commitments and accruals.
• Monitor schedule performance, critical path changes and variances; coordinate resolutions.
• Administer cost management/PMIS platforms; track acquisition packages and support invoices.
• Produce regular cost and schedule progress reports for Program Manager/PMO; feed dashboards with accurate data.
• Support integration of cost and schedule data with Power BI reporting tools; coordinate with BI staff.
• Support vendor selection, contractor progress tracking, change orders, and project close‑out reporting.
