Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Vice President, Project Controls to join the Project Controls group. This role can be based out of any WSP USA office.

You will support planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and coordination of subcontractors and internal technical staff. You will develop the project cost baseline, implement cost control procedures, analyze variances, and collaborate with engineering/design teams to optimize project costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 12 years of combined field and office project controls experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience with cost estimating methodologies, cost control techniques, and schedule management.
• Experience with dashboards/reports in Power BI and/or Tableau; proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and subcontractor coordination.
• Develop project cost breakdown structure and baseline budget.
• Implement cost control procedures and analyze cost variances.
• Collaborate with engineering/design to optimize project costs and value-add changes.
• Establish methods to measure progress and assess cost performance.
• Communicate status and updates to stakeholders; attend meetings to resolve issues.
• Provide monthly client reports and maintain financial reports for subtasks.
