Job summary

Consertus is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead data collection, budget and schedule monitoring, and reporting for complex capital projects. You will evaluate performance trends, identify risks, and ensure projects close on time and within budget while coordinating with PMs, CMs, and contractors.

You will manage data quality, develop reporting tooling, and promote proactive communication across teams to minimize disruptions and keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
• Must have 5+ years of experience in Primavera P6
• Requires knowledge of the principals of cost estimating, scheduling, finance and contract administration
• Must have strong AEC Project analyst skills and project controls experience

Responsibilities

• Manages and ensures the reconciliation of program controls data with financial systems.
• Utilizes existing project data systems to monitor, develop and record project data
• Coordinates and provides leadership to Planning and Development Teams to establish and maintain data coding structures and project control tools
• Gathers and tracks quality data used for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual costs
• Develops, implements and maintains a management reporting data base to produce program controls reports
• Ensures regular and timely reporting of the projects progress to advise of any conditions that would affect timelines or costs
• Provides feedback to ensure adjustments are made on a timely basis with minimal disruption to project
• Promotes open communication and collaboration between all parties to ensure that projects are completed with minimal disruptions and delays
• Maintains computerized project reports as dictated by the project and by the contractual obligations
• Reviews, evaluates and recommends changes to project documents as required by project needs
• Assists in the establishment of a master schedule to ensure that the project is completed within agreed upon time and cost constraints
