Job summary

Opitz Bürotechnik is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead the project controls group, overseeing budget, schedule, change management, and risk analysis for complex facility projects in the Boise area.

The role includes developing historical cost data for benchmarking, maintaining control databases, and providing weekly to monthly performance reports to clients and PM staff. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 10–15 years of project management experience on large facilities construction.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and cashflow analysis experience.
• Advanced scheduling and document/change management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the Project Management Team to establish and maintain project control structures.
• Gather and track budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual costs.
• Oversee development and maintenance of management reporting databases and program controls reports.
• Produce regular progress reports to inform timelines and costs.
• Manage contract timelines, site inspections, and risk analyses with stakeholder input.
