Job summary

HPM seeks a detail-oriented Project Controls Specialist to support planning and execution of large, complex construction programs in Boise, ID. You will help project teams manage costs, schedules, contracts, forecasts, risks, and reporting, delivering clear, accurate information to clients and project leaders.

The ideal candidate combines strong construction knowledge with analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Five to ten years of project-controls, cost-controls, or extensive project-management experience.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and Primavera P6; proficiency with Excel and MS Office.
• Experience reviewing contracts, forecasting, and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, costs, schedules, forecasts, cash flow, and earned value.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and special project reports for clients and project teams.
• Clearly communicate financial status, schedule performance, risks, and project updates.
• Review contracts, invoices, commitments, expenditures, and vendor payments.
