Job summary

KBR is seeking a Sr. Specialist - Project Controls to join the Critical Infrastructure Protection team. The role involves financial control, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with FAR/CAS in a remote environment.

Responsibilities include leading project set up, cashflow optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver contractual milestones across various contract types.

Qualifications

• Four years of applicable experience.
• Knowledge of financial accounting as it relates to U.S. GAAP.
• Demonstrated knowledge of complex program management concepts (budgets, estimates to complete, project schedules).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control WBS and lead project set up activities for compliant cost charging and revenue recognition.
• Forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and reporting cycles including estimates to complete and variance analysis.
• Monitor baselines, budgets, funding, schedules, milestones and process scope changes.
• Maximize project cashflow; review invoices and reconcile unbilled balances.
• Collaborate with Program Management and customers to deliver financial and contractual milestones.
