Job summary

KBR's Specialist, Cost Control position within the CIP group focuses on full P&L and cashflow responsibility for assigned projects, handling budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting under FAR/CAS compliance. Qualifications

• Two years of applicable experience in financial controls or project cost management.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasts, and cost reporting.
• Experience with government contracting and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control WBS and establish cost charging, billing and revenue recognition.
• Forecast budgets and perform variance analysis and schedule risk assessments.
• Manage baselines and budgets, monitor funding, schedules and milestones, and process scope changes.
• Maximize project cashflow, review invoices and minimize unbilled balances.
• Oversee subcontractor expenditures and analyze cost trends for monthly accruals.
• Collaborate with Program Management to deliver financial & contractual milestones and prepare reports.
