Job summary

KBR seeks a Principal Project Controls Manager to lead enterprise-level cost, schedule, change, risk, and performance management on major capital projects in the U.S. This senior role drives governance, strategic decision-making, and a credible forecast across multi-discipline teams.

You will mentor planning, cost, risk, and reporting professionals, partner with executives and project directors, and ensure the controls framework remains robust through FEL/FEED to closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance or related discipline.
• 18+ years of progressive project controls experience on major EPC/EPCM capital projects, including 8+ years leading integrated controls.
• Expert in earned value management, forecasting, and performance reporting in an EPC setting.
• Experience leading large, dispersed project controls teams and advising executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own project controls strategy, governance, and execution across cost, schedule, risk, and reporting.
• Lead and develop planning, cost, change, risk, and reporting professionals.
• Implement EVMS rules, cost and schedule integration, and contingency management.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support investments and recovery planning.
