Job summary

Lusternational is seeking Project Controls Managers to support large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs across highways, bridges, transit, aviation, and water projects. You will defend numbers with program leadership, oversee cost/schedule baselines, and coordinate across contracts and interfaces.

The role requires 10+ years in project controls, proficiency with Primavera P6 and other tools, and the ability to mentor a controls team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project controls experience on large heavy-civil projects.
• Experience integrating cost and schedule data on a common WBS/CBS.
• Experience applying earned value methods and critical path schedule analysis.
• Experience leading project controls staff on a capital program.
• Proficiency with scheduling and program cost controls software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the program's integrated controls system and baseline change procedures.
• Review contractor cost and schedule submittals against requirements and progress.
• Analyze earned value, cost and schedule performance indices and surface variances.
• Evaluate change proposals, delay claims, and time impact analyses for cost and schedule merit.
• Oversee the program forecast, cash flow, and contingency and reserve positions.
• Coordinate the risk register with baselines and forecast, ensuring exposure informs decisions.
• Lead monthly controls cycle and present status to leadership.
• Coordinate controls across contracts and interfaces to capture cross-package impacts.
• Mentor controls analysts on analysis quality and escalation.
