Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop complex schedules and cost baselines, conduct EV analyses, and collaborate with project teams and management.

The role requires strong technical finance skills, risk assessment, and experience with Primavera P6 and EcoSys. Federal contract requirements apply; travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience; equivalent additional directly related experience considered.
• U.S. Citizenship due to federal contract requirements and/or eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience with earned value management and large-scale projects.
• Travel up to 20%–40% may be required depending on project demands.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains integrated critical path schedules and cost baselines.
• Executes Earned Value Management and related financial analyses.
• Provides technical guidance and mentors junior staff.
• Communicates cost status, forecasts and project performance to stakeholders.
