This role focuses on cost control and progress tracking within a dedicated project controls team, collaborating with construction teams and vendors to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in project controls, strong EVMS experience, and the ability to travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in project controls with emphasis on cost management and field operations.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay applications.
• Experience with EVMS.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, monitoring, and forecasting of cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements: budget development, scope changes, expenditures, forecasts.
• Maintain data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance; recommend corrective actions.
• Review contractor pay applications for contractual compliance.
• Track construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect weekly progress data.
