Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Sr Project Controls Professional to support ongoing site-based assignments in Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, or Corpus Christi, TX, with future on-site projects across the U.S. You will lead cost control, forecasting, and reporting as part of the project controls team.

You will set up and monitor cost and progress metrics, review contractor pay applications, perform EVM analyses, and ensure data integrity in EVMS and related systems. Travel to on-site locations will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 15 years in project controls with cost management and field ops.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay app processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements: budget updates, scope changes, expenditure reports.
• Maintain accurate data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance; recommend corrective actions.
• Review contractor pay applications for contract compliance.
• Track construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect weekly progress data.
