Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Project Controls Professional for an on-site assignment across Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, or Corpus Christi, TX, with future projects nationwide. The role focuses on cost control, EVM, and construction progress tracking within a dedicated project controls team.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, expenditure tracking, and contractor pay reviews, reporting to project and construction managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of project controls experience with cost management and field operations.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay applications.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements: budgeting, scope changes, and forecast reporting.
• Maintain data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and approve contractor pay applications per contract terms.
• Track construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect weekly progress data.
