Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Project Controls Professional for an on-site assignment across multiple U.S. locations, including Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, or Corpus Christi, TX. The role emphasizes cost control, scheduling, and Earned Value Management.

You will work with the project controls team, reviewing contractor pay apps, tracking progress, forecasting costs, and reporting through the project lifecycle. Travel to on-site assignments is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, finance, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in project controls with focus on cost management and field operations.
• Experience with EVMS and construction contracts/pay applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements: budget updates, scope changes, expenditure reporting.
• Maintain data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue vs cost performance and advise on corrective actions.
• Review contractor pay applications for contractual compliance.
• Track construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM) and coordinate data uploads.
