Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. The role develops complex schedule/cost baselines, collects monthly data, analyzes variances, and integrates risk reserves into forecasts for effective reporting.

You will implement financial controls, collaborate with project teams, and may supervise junior staff, traveling domestically or internationally as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and analyzes integrated critical path schedules for major projects and programs.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and discusses observations with the project manager.
• Performs portfolio analysis and reviews findings with portfolio managers on on-time delivery and risk.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff and may supervise junior engineers.
• Performs other duties as required.
