Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. You will develop and maintain schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, analyze variances, and assist in root cause analysis while ensuring risk reserves are integrated into forecasts.

You will produce standard reports for stakeholders and help implement financial controls and forecasting techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validate project costs; update requirements as required.
• Monitor progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
• Perform earned value management reporting and related analyses.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
