Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the United States. The role focuses on developing and maintaining complex schedule and cost baselines, collecting monthly data, identifying variances, and integrating risk reserves into forecasts.

The candidate will prepare standardized reports for stakeholders, support financial controls, and collaborate with project teams and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of related experience.
• Extensive Earned Value Management (EVM) experience with large budgets.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule development and management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Generate and analyze earned value reports and discuss observations with the project manager.
• Monitor progress and prepare client and internal status reports on cost and schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and safety protocols.
