Job summary

RSI EnTech, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support the North and West Transmission Field Operations in scoping, planning, scheduling and cost management. The role requires strong communication and a customer-oriented approach and is hybrid, near Nashville, TN.

The position emphasizes earned value management, change control, and interfacing with engineering, procurement and operations to ensure project success. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or financial/business field, or related field desired plus 3 years of progressively responsible project control experience.
• Detailed knowledge of project control practices, methods, procedures.
• PMP Certification by PMI or AACE certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor project cost performance.
• Develop monthly project budget and analyze cost for risk and opportunities.
• Periodically review project status by analyzing actual progress and cost vs. plan.
• Prepare status reports and provide detailed analysis using earned value management.
• Conduct change control in accordance with procedures.
• Prepare work orders for project team and assist with funding requests and closeout.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor schedule performance; coordinate with customer/stakeholders.
• Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, operations and senior management.
