Job summary

RSI EnTech, LLC seeks a Project Controls Specialist to support the Project Manager in scoping, planning, scheduling and cost management. You will use earned value techniques to monitor performance, conduct change control and provide financial analysis to keep projects on track.

The role requires strong communication, customer-oriented attitude and collaboration across engineering, construction, procurement and operations to drive on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or financial/business field; PMP or AACE certification desired.
• Experience applying project control concepts, processes and techniques.
• Proficiency in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor project cost performance.
• Develop monthly project budget and analyze cost for risk and opportunities.
• Review project status by comparing actual progress/cost to plan.
• Prepare accruals and detailed reports using earned value management.
• Conduct change control per procedures; prepare work orders as needed.
• Assist with project creation, funding requests and closeout processes.
• Plan, schedule and monitor schedule performance; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare summary and detail reports to monitor progress and identify issues.
• Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, operations and senior management.
