Job summary

Apex Clean Energy is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to lead scheduling and cost controls for our onshore wind, solar, and BESS projects nationwide. You will develop strategies that optimize cost, quality, schedule, and risk while ensuring data accuracy for project managers.

Collaborating with Engineering, Construction, Development, Finance, Legal and Operations, you will implement Procore and scheduling workflows, train PMs, and drive consistency in cost-to-complete reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field.
5+ years in Scheduling and Project Controls with progressive responsibility.
3+ years in Renewable Energy scheduling/cost with wind, solar, or BESS experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain priority project schedules from Development through execution.
Train and guide project managers in scheduling process.
Analyze current schedules vs established baselines.
Ensure accuracy in schedule and cost information across the company.
Perform monthly and ad hoc cost-to-complete analyses with Project Managers.
Coordinate periodic project updates across departments to gather information.
Build, train, and implement Procore and Controls processes and procedures.
Champion scheduling and cost controls across the company.
