Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Manager of Project Controls to oversee and direct all project controls functions across projects in the U.S. The role requires developing controls strategies, managing a team of specialists, and ensuring cost and schedule adherence to support successful execution.

Responsibilities include budgeting, cost forecasting, EVM, and detailed scheduling, with collaboration across PM, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project controls within construction, engineering, or energy sectors.
• At least 5 years in leadership/management of project controls.
• Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and cost management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project controls procedures, standards, and systems across projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of project controls specialists.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with critical path analysis.
• Manage budgeting and cost control including forecasting, variance analysis, and EV management.
• Prepare and present project performance reports to senior management.
