Job summary

Longenecker & Associates (L&A), a Geosyntec Company, seeks a Principal Business Analyst - Project Controls to support DOE-related work at Savannah River National Lab in Aiken, SC. You will lead the development and execution of cost and schedule controls across complex programs.

Responsibilities include creating baselines, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and implementing change control while guiding junior staff and coordinating with client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or related area with 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years experience would be considered equivalent.
• An Associate’s degree with 11 years experience would be considered equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, implement, maintain and ensure accountability of project controls, financial analyses or estimating applications throughout a complex project life cycle.
• Perform project controls activities, prepare business/financial plans and reports on a periodic or ad hoc basis.
• Develop cost and schedule baselines, milestone schedules, work breakdown structures, and spend plans to optimize resources.
• Guide multi-project analyses and provide technical control leadership to subordinates.
