Job summary

Longenecker & Associates (L&A), a Geosyntec Company, is seeking a Principal Project Control Specialist to support Savannah River Nuclear Solutions in Aiken, SC. You will lead project controls, cost and schedule management for complex programs and coordinate with DOE stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of related experience or equivalent, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 5–7 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract security requirements.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation for DOE Q security clearance.
• Health & Safety training and client-driven drug/background testing.
• Proficient with automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems.
• Experience with Site Business systems.
• Knowledge of project management, cost and schedule control at the tactical level.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, implement, maintain and account for total project controls.
• Perform project controls activities and prepare business/financial plans.
• Develop cost and schedule baselines, WBS, and spend-out plans.
• Provide technical control leadership and guide multi-project analyses.
• Participate in cost reviews and maintain basic change management for work scope.
• Create monthly financial reports with analyses and forecasts.
• Provide leadership and training to other project controls staff.
