Job summary

Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Principal Project Control Specialist to support operations in Aiken, SC. You will be responsible for organizing, developing, implementing and maintaining total project controls, financial analysis and cost control across complex programs.

Under limited supervision you will perform project controls activities, prepare business and financial plans, and lead cost/schedule baselines, variance analysis and mitigation planning for management.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Pre-employment screening including drug and breath alcohol test and MVR check.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.
• Expert proficiency in automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems.
• Experience with Site Business systems is preferred.
• Strong project management and cost/schedule control knowledge at tactical level.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, implement and maintain total project controls and cost/schedule baselines.
• Perform project controls activities and prepare financial plans and reports.
• Develop and maintain cost/schedule baselines and work breakdown structures.
• Lead cost reviews, change management, and variance analysis with mitigation plans.
• Provide advanced control expertise and guide subordinates on complex analyses.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts and spend plans.
• Coordinate with clients to link planning and budgeting processes.

Bachelor's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or related area or equivalent

Associate's degree with 11 years of experience equivalent
