Job summary

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is seeking an experienced Project Controls Analyst III to support budgeting, cost estimation, scheduling, and reporting within the Authority’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP). The role focuses on on-budget, on-time performance through QA/QC of cost data and coordination with project managers and outside consultants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting, cost estimating, cash flow projections, and EAC projections.
• Review and process consultant and construction invoices per authorizations.
• Perform cost management, including trending and change management.
• Provide QA/QC review of budget/cost data.
• Assist with project schedules, monitor progress against baseline, and forecast impacts of changes.
• Support mitigation strategies for contractors, and ensure schedule compliance with contracts.
• Coordinate risk analysis, risk workshops, and value engineering activities.
• Maintain lessons learned databases, and develop new reports and dashboards.
• Prepare high-quality charts, tables, and presentations for stakeholders.
