Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an experienced Project Controls Accountant for the Engineeering & Construction team at a contract capacity in Florida. The role focuses on developing processes for tracking inventory and storage costs, posting journal entries, and supporting month-end close and financial reporting.

The candidate should have a CPA or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP/BOBJ; Power BI is preferred. This position requires independent work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA credential is preferred.
• Strong accounting background with experience supporting project-related financial activities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail Orientated.
• Highly skilled in Excel.
• SAP experience is required.
• SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) experience is preferred.
• Power BI experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for tracking inventory and storage costs.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
• Complete monthly accruals and account reconciliations.
• Track and monitor invoices to support timely processing and payment.
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and document accounting procedures.
