Westinghouse Electric Company LLC’s subsidiary WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Project Controls Accountant for a 1-year contract. Location: Juno Beach, FL. The role focuses on tracking inventory and storage costs while supporting core accounting and project controls activities.

W-2 role with responsibilities spanning journal entries, accruals, and month-end close. Key qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and SAP experience required; CPA preferred and Power BI

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is preferred.
• Strong accounting background with experience supporting project-related financial activities.
• SAP experience is required.
• SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) experience is preferred.
• Power BI experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for tracking inventory and storage costs.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
• Complete monthly accruals and account reconciliations.
• Track and monitor invoices to support timely processing and payment.
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and document accounting procedures.

About the role: Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408

We are looking for a Project Controls Accountant on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) The Engineering & Construction (E&C) Project Controls team is seeking an accounting professional to develop and implement processes for tracking inventory and storage costs while supporting core accounting and project controls activities. This role will help ensure project-related financial transactions are accurately recorded, monitored, and reported.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for tracking inventory and storage costs.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
• Complete monthly accruals and account reconciliations.
