Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a seasoned Project Architect to lead design development and construction documents for diverse projects. You will oversee drawing production, mentor junior staff, and ensure code compliance while coordinating with project teams and consultants to deliver high-quality contract documents.

The role requires an architecture license and 10+ years of experience, with strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect with 10+ years of experience in architecture.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate complete contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage design development, construction documents, and project specs.
• Oversee production of drawing sets and mentor team members on design strategies.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on schedule and deadlines.
• Coordinate with consultants to assemble a complete set of documents for permits.
• Provide construction administration, including site visits and RFI/submittal reviews.
• Lead QC processes and ensure quality of drawings across project phases.
• Support office leads in assembling consultant teams and managing scope and contracts.
