Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Experienced Professional, Project Accounting in the United States to provide accounting and financial specialist support to project managers and project teams. Responsibilities include developing project work breakdown structures, project budgets, margin analysis, and creating funding in Oracle for large projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or proven equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of post-education accounting/project accounting experience.
• Experience with project contracts, change management, and invoicing processes.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate financial implications clearly.
• Familiarity with Oracle and MS Excel for project accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze project costs and revenue to ensure accurate profitability.
• Oversee lifecycle project accounting from accounts setup to close-out and reconciliations.
• Prepare project financial reports and variance analyses for management.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Billing on pre-billing reviews and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and prepare government or client reports as required.
