Job summary

WSP USA seeks an Experienced Professional, Billing to lead day-to-day billing operations across districts. You will supervise staff, coordinate with Project Accountants, and ensure compliant, timely invoices in Oracle. This role focuses on efficiency, automation opportunities, and adherence to contract terms.

You will train and develop billing personnel, balance workloads, and maintain accurate data while supporting large, complex contracts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills across teams.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and basic accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, coach, and manage billing staff performance.
Coordinate with Project Accountants to assign billers for new contracts.
Balance workloads and regional activities per corporate schedules and deadlines.
Identify training needs and develop or coordinate programs.
Resolve billing issues and escalate to Billing Manager as needed.
Identify processes suitable for automated invoicing and drive implementation.
Develop billing templates for complex contracts and review delegated templates.
Produce client-ready invoices in Oracle with project accountant support.
