Job summary

WSP is seeking an Experienced Professional, Project Accounting in the United States. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance and will provide accounting support to project managers and teams.

Responsibilities include creating project budgets and WBS, performing margin analyses, funding in Oracle for large projects, processing cost transfers, and generating project accounting reports in collaboration with Billing and Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline or proven equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of post-education accounting, contracts and change management experience.
• Working knowledge of project accounting principles and methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs and revenue, ensuring accurate profit and loss for projects.
• Lifecycle project accounting from creating accounts to close-out and reconciliations.
• Prepare project budgets, engage in cost estimates, and assist with invoicing.
• Generate robust project accounting reports and cooperate with project leadership.
• Monitor variances and provide recommendations to management.
