HDR is seeking a Project Accountant 2 to support cross‑functional project finance across multiple service lines. You will manage initiation packages, monitor costs, process subconsultant invoices, and perform monthly billing to ensure accurate project financial data.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in accounting or related field, 5 years of experience, expertise with MS Office and earned value concepts, and strong communication to collaborate with PMs and area leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a closely related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience; an advanced degree may offset years of experience.
• Familiar with Earned Value Management
• Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar and spelling
• Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook
• Oracle EBS/Hyperion experience a plus. A/E/C experience also highly desired

Responsabilités

• Process and manage Project Initiation Packages per contract and budget documents.
• Review week-end and month-end cost sheets and analyze project financial data.
• Process and approve subconsultant invoices; ensure timely payment.
• Perform monthly billing and ensure accurate project performance data.
• Assist PMs and leadership with staffing forecasts, cost-to-complete data, and change orders.
• Coordinate project closeout activities including final billing and cost recording
