Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant 2 in the United States (Missouri/Kansas City) to manage comprehensive project and contract financial activities.

You will collaborate with PMs, section managers, and accounting teams to ensure accurate documentation, invoicing, and performance data throughout the contract life cycle. The role supports cross-functional teams across early project initiation to completion, including cost monitoring, earned value, and closeout activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum 5 years of project accounting experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Oracle EBS/Hyperion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review week-end and month-end cost sheets.
• Process subconsultant invoices with PM approval.
• Perform monthly billing for projects and post invoices on time.
• Analyze and resolve accounts receivable issues with PM input.
• Assist PMs and managers with staffing resource forecasting and project data.
