Job summary

HDR invites applications for a project accounting role focused on client invoicing, collections, budgeting, and contract administration. The position supports project managers and the accounting team in delivering timely, accurate financial documentation and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least five years of experience, with knowledge of Earned Value Management, MS Office, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience; advanced degree may offset experience
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication; attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously on client invoicing, collections management and project budgeting
• Prepare contracts/amendments using approved templates
• Maintain and track project insurance certificates and renewals
• Support project managers and accounting team with project initiation documents
• Mentor junior project accountants as needed
• QC/Audit subconsultant invoices and related documentation
• Coordinate document filing and maintain projectWise records
• Assist with prequalification of subs performing field work
• Ensure deliverables are submitted on time and quality is maintained
