Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Accountant experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience on U.S.-based commercial construction projects.
• Proven longevity with previous employers.
• Strong construction accounting and job costing expertise.
• Experience with AIA billing, subcontract administration, and change orders.
• Candidates must have GC experience, not working exclusively for subs.

Responsibilities

• Manage project setup, contracts, and financial documentation.
• Prepare monthly AIA billings and client invoices.
• Maintain budgets, commitments, POs, and change orders.
• Process subcontractor invoices and project AP.
• Monitor job costs and assist with financial reporting.
• Support month-end accounting activities.
