Job summary

Konstruct Staff partners with a leading South Florida general contractor to hire project accountants at multiple levels across West Palm Beach, Broward and Miami. You’ll handle major aviation and public infrastructure projects with long-term, high-visibility exposure.

You’ll manage cost reporting, invoices, lien waivers and cost reviews, progressing to end-to-end ownership of project finance and mentoring junior staff as you advance. A local office minimizes commuting.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, real estate or project-based accounting.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Viewpoint, Sage, CMiC or Procore experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage job cost reporting, budgets and forecasts for projects.
• Process owner pay applications, subcontractor invoices and change orders.
• Track lien waivers, retainage, insurance and compliance documents.
• Collaborate with project managers on monthly cost reviews from setup to close-out.
• At senior level, own project financials end to end and mentor junior team members.

Project Accountants (Assistant through to Senior): South Florida General Contractor

Konstruct Staff is partnering with one of the region’s leading general contractors. Their pipeline is growing faster than their team, and they’re hiring project accountants at every level across West Palm Beach, Broward and Miami. Hiring is moving quickly.

The projects

You’ll work on major aviation and public infrastructure, plus large-scale private developments in the billion-dollar range. These are long-term, high-visibility builds, and the experience of working on them will set your career apart.

What you’ll do

• Manage job cost reporting, budgets and forecasts for your projects
• Process owner pay applications, subcontractor invoices and change orders
• Track lien waivers, retainage, insurance and compliance documents
• Work closely with project managers on monthly cost reviews, from setup to close-out
• At senior level, own project financials end to end and mentor junior team members

What you’ll bring

• Construction, real estate or project-based accounting experience. Whether you have one year or ten, there’s a role that fits
• A degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
• Viewpoint, Sage, CMiC or Procore experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with project teams
