Jobot is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Accountant to manage project finances from kickoff to closeout. You will oversee job costing, change orders, pay apps, lien waivers, and AIA billing, partnering with PMs and leadership to ensure accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in project accounting, strong Excel and Viewpoint skills, and a CPA/CMA is a plus. This on-site role in Florida offers PTO, SIMPLE IRA, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years in a project accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, AIA billing, WIP, and percent complete.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project-related accounts, job costing, and financial projections.
• Handle change orders and pay applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and general contractors on financials.
• Process AIA billing, lien waivers, and WIP in compliance with standards.
• Provide accurate and detailed financial reports using Viewpoint.
• Monitor T&M and percentage of completion; report updates to team.
