Leoforce is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support the financial operations of a growing construction and infrastructure services organization in Cincinnati, Ohio. This senior role focuses on project billing, contract administration, and accurate invoicing across multiple divisions.

You will collaborate with Operations, Estimating, Payroll, Billing, and Leadership to ensure projects are established, billed, and tracked from award to completion, with opportunities to streamline

Qualificações

• 3+ years of construction or project accounting experience.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure, roadway, or specialty contracting environments.
• Strong understanding of:
• Project billing
• Job costing
• Contract administration
• Project financial reporting
• Experience using Deltek ComputerEase.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Manage project billing across multiple construction service divisions.
• Prepare and submit accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
• Review daily field reports, work orders, tickets, and supporting documentation for billing accuracy.
• Monitor project costs, committed costs, change orders, retainage, and overall project profitability.
• Coordinate with operations and project managers to resolve billing discrepancies and job cost issues.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to project accounting.
• Maintain organized electronic project files and financial documentation.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and customer requirements.
• Track insurance compliance, lien waivers, subcontractor documentation, and project closeout requirements.
• Maintain accurate project setup and financial information within the ERP system.
• Support change order administration and contract modifications.
• Partner with leadership to improve project reporting and financial visibility.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting, billing, and contract administration processes.
• Assist with audits and financial reporting requests.
