Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or a professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining a general ledger.
• Excellent analytical skills, with ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to high standards.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports detailing costs, profitability, and forecasts.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring data accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and financial plans for Real Estate projects.
• Analyze financial data and recommend improvements for profitability and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and company policies.
• Provide financial guidance to management for strategic planning and decision making.
• Assist in preparing year-end and statutory accounts.
