Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 in Roy, UT to lead day-to-day execution of the TACAMO program, manage budgets and schedules, and oversee subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, customer engagement, and experience with NH&S or MBSE; active Top Secret clearance is required. Relocation assistance may be available and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
• NH&S Experience or MBSE Experience, preferably both.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets and schedules that meet standards.
• Direct and control program activities across functions and suppliers.
• Oversee subcontractor activities to ensure hardware integration and program performance.
• Ensure adherence to contract scope and manage changes throughout execution.
• Cultivate customer relationships to develop opportunities within the customer community.
• Maintain regular customer interactions to assess program execution effectiveness.
• Provide leadership and direction to achieve goals and results.
• Conduct risk and opportunity management including identification and mitigation.
